Selected WTO Meetings of Particular Importance to Less-Advantaged Countries (June - August 2002)
This list is intended to keep less-advantaged countries (LACs) - particularly the non-resident members and observers of the WTO - informed on up-coming meetings at the WTO in Geneva. It is hoped that this will help these countries better apply their limited resources so as to maximise their involvement in the areas that are of most importance to them.
Please note that not all WTO meetings are listed. We have not listed meetings of standard WTO bodies for which no information is available, or where the subjects to be covered are of limited direct relevance to LACs. All meetings are formal, unless indicated to be informal by an asterisk (*). The nature of informal meetings and consultations is often such that it is very difficult to have prior details, meaning that this list necessarily focuses on formal meetings.
The list is based on information available on 4 June 2002.
